Draw a line on the square, diagonally

Sew 1/4 inch on each side of the line.
| Lay out the blocks as shown. |
Square up the blocks to 12 Inches.
| Press open. |
| Yields two "Half Square Triangles". |
| Cut on the line. |
| Should now look like this. Here, I used a variety of reds and creams for a scrappy look. |
| Reverse the order of the strips. Sew together. (36 Sets) |
| Sew two blocks together. (18) |
