Scrappy Christmas Tree, Wall Hanging Quick and Easy

Make Twelve (12), Green and Background,
HST
I used the 3 inch unfinished size,
(2 1/2 finished size).
Cut 22, Three (3) inch squares of your
background fabric.
Cut Two, (2) strips of background fabric,
3 inches x 20 1/2, inches
Cut Eighteen, (18) squares out of a variety of
green fabrics.
Three (3) inches square
Lay your squares out according to the picture
at left.
Sew together using 1/4 inch seam allowance.
Add a red border, or any other color you like.
I embellished my Christmas Tree Quilt with the pins, I purchased at all of the quilt shows I have attended. I use them as ornaments!

I used 4 inch unfinished measurements.
(3 1/2 inch finished measurements)
16 Green and Background, HST's, for tree tips.
4 Brown squares for tree trunk.
32 Green Squares for tree
92 Off white squares for the background.
52 Red squares for the border.
Lay out the units and assemble at shown.
Piece together using a 1/4 inch seam allowance.
Quilt, bind and enjoy!!
